What changed, and what it cost.

Aurora Nexus hotfix

Shutdown safety, quieter bridge I/O, and config diagnostics.

• A synchronous chunk load requested from the region shutdown thread is refused up front with an owned message. A plugin loading a chunk from onDisable can no longer hang shutdown.
• A stopped BRIDGE_IO lane now logs one rate-limited “lane is stopping” line instead of a warning and stack trace for every skipped task.
• Unreadable config files now report the file, line, snippet, and parser message. Values and files are never rewritten by the diagnostic.

Backports only these changes. Build 49 configuration renaming and the TOML→YAML migration are not included.

Bridge and world seam hotfix

Thread-check parity, portal state, chunk waits, and bridge task ownership.

• LightingLuminol thread checks ported into the compatibility bridge.
• Portal state kept at the teleport seam; paper chunk paths and World#getChunkAt waits fixed for unowned threads.
• Untargeted legacy sync tasks are anchored to the player they act for; plugins that never loaded are counted as failed.

World and startup hotfix

World overrides, currentTick, and startup world settings.

• World settings are applied on the startup thread before regions tick.
• MinecraftServer.currentTick restored as a global-tick counter.
• A missing Aurora/Canvas.Distance override now means no distance override.

Licence hotfix

GPL text and source notice shipped in the release jar.

• The jar now carries the GPL text and source notice under META-INF/licenses/.
• Release branch hotfix publication required an independent reproducibility job.

Aurora Nexus

The first full signed Aurora Nexus release, with owned guards and restored vanilla behavior.

• Command blocks, synchronous teleports, ender pearls, legacy sync events, /schedule, datapack functions, and wandering trader persistence restored under region rules.
• Stall recorder, real /mspt duration, cgroup-aware /sys, and cleaner logger tags for operators.
• First Ed25519-signed release with a release manifest, build provenance attestation, CycloneDX SBOM, and GPL-3.0-only licensing.
• Canvas plugin API removed; dev.iyanz.sourbycraft.api is the supported namespace. Legacy Canvas names read with warnings until Build 50.
