Documentation
The field manual for SourbyCraft 26.2 and the Aurora Engine. It documents the current release, including the parts that are published but not yet STABLE.
SourbyCraft is a region-threaded Minecraft 26.2 runtime built on Paper. Aurora gives each region an owner thread, schedules region work by deadline, and keeps cross-region paths explicit. The documentation is written for the release you can download: Build 48.4, Aurora Nexus.

Install
Verify the jar, boot once, and understand the current directory layout.
Aurora Engine
The execution model: owned regions, deadline scheduling, global lifecycle.
Regions
Ownership rules, cross-region paths, and the compatibility bridge.
The model in one paragraph
The server lifecycle and world admission run globally. Once regions exist, each region has one owner thread that mutates its chunks and entities. A caller does not become the owner because it happens to be nearby. Work that crosses a region boundary has an explicit path, an outcome, and an observability cost. The Paper API is available under the project namespace; the compatibility bridge for non-region-aware plugins is opt-in.
Release labels
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| REL | The jar is published. It has passed the publication pipeline, but carries no stability claim beyond that. |
| STABLE | A separate qualification claim. Reserved for Build 49. |
| Hotfix | A narrow backport on a release branch. It does not promote the channel to STABLE. |
| not STABLE | The current channel. Use it for testing with the documented boundary. |
